OUR HISTORY

 

Welcome to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. Perhaps you are new to the area, have been away from church for a time, or are looking for a new church home. Whatever your reason, we invite you to join us for worship, education, and fellowship. 

Prince of Peace is a faith community rooted in its baptismal identity as children of God. 

In our life together, and in our daily vocations, we seek to worship the Lord in heart, mind, and spirit.

Our size, diversity of ages, and our friendliness create a true feeling of family. Our care for one another extends well beyond our Sunday worship together.

Our members come from a variety of faith traditions and backgrounds, confessing our common identity in Jesus Christ. 

We are a congregation of the NJ Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). 

 

 

The church is a people created by God in Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit, called and sent to bear witness to God’s creative, redeeming, and sanctifying activity in the world.
