Community Service
MISSION IN COMMUNITY
We respond to God’s love by sharing our love for others. Our mission outreach activities include:

Serving meals to the hungry at Faith Kitchen in Dover on each 5th Monday of the month
(4 to 5 times per year)

Collecting food for the local food pantry

Participating in Christmas gift-giving programs for those in need

Realizing that “community” is more than “here”, giving to the NJ Synod & ELCA World Hunger, to help with needs outside of our immediate neighborhood

Participating in Socks in a box for the group RISE-UP

Donating our space to I A.M. Hope NJ

HOW IT WORKS:
FOR EVERY $100 OF SHOP RITE GIFT CARDS PURCHASED, our church makes 5% profit ($5.00)
Shop Rite Gift Cards are used like cash at any Shop Rite. They work on a declining balance system. If you do not spend the full amount of the Gift Card in one shopping trip, your purchase will be deducted from the face value of the card. You keep and use the card until its value is $0. When there is no cash left on a card, the cashier discards it. They can be used at any Shop Rite. Great for gifts and everyday use.

Vacation Bible School (VBS)
A safe fun environment for kids under 12 from around Morris County. VBS is offered mornings for one week each summer for
age 4-6th grade.
Teen helpers are
welcome to assist
teachers.
